DR. RON PAUL TO SPEAK AT COLORADO MESA UNIVERSITY SPONSORED BY TISHA CASIDA’S BLUE REPUBLICAN COLORADO CHAPTER

On Tuesday, September 24th, 2013 – former presidential candidate and Texas congressman Ron Paul will come to Colorado Mesa University to speak about “Liberty Defined: The Future of Freedom”.  The event is free, and open to the public – and Colorado Mesa University students are encouraged to attend.

Tisha Casida, chair of Blue Republican Colorado, is actively organizing and promoting the event, saying that “this is a tremendous opportunity for Coloradans to hear Dr. Ron Paul speak about liberty – and there is no better time than now to be having that discussion”.  Casida, active in the liberty movement as chair of Blue Republican Colorado, and a former unaffiliated congressional candidate for Colorado District Three, will also be speaking at the event.

Paul is the author of several books, including Challenge to Liberty; The Case for Gold; and A Republic, If You Can Keep It. He has been a distinguished counselor to the Ludwig von Mises Institute, and is widely quoted by scholars and writers in the fields of monetary policy, banking, and political economy.

Blue Republican is a movement started by Robin Koerner, and founded as a group of “Liberals who joined the GOP to support Ron Paul”.  From their website (www.bluerepublican.org), they declare that,  “we are now a non-dogmatic community of Liberty-curious Americans who put principles before party”.

The event is free, but tickets will be required for entry.  Casida says that students and the public can register for tickets here: http://imaginethat911.com/ron-paul-is-coming-to-colorado/ , as well as by calling or contacting by snail-mail.
